People choosing an activity want to know what they will do, whether the experience suits them and how to take part. A website should answer those questions before asking for a booking. Kapta has documented experience with SUPA, an operator offering stand up paddle, surf and kayak activities in Albufeira.
Discuss your websiteDistinct activities may need their own pages explaining the route, duration, meeting point, equipment and participation requirements. The operator must supply and approve that information. Authentic photographs and clear descriptions help visitors understand an experience without relying on product names or promotional phrases alone.
Content for families or beginners is useful when it addresses specific needs, such as supervision, difficulty or preparation. There is no need to multiply pages containing the same information. In the SUPA project, organising content around activities and audiences formed part of the navigation and content work.
SUPA wanted to communicate in Portugal and internationally, and its project included pages in different languages. For a new website, Portuguese and English can provide a starting point based on the operator’s customers. Each version needs editorial review and equivalent operational information.
Translation also involves checking participation terms, arrival instructions and cancellation conditions. Whoever changes an activity should know which language versions need updating. The technical structure should connect equivalent pages, keeping language selection clear while visitors explore an experience and move towards booking.
The journey may end with an enquiry or continue to a booking platform, depending on the operation. FareHarbor integrations can be assessed, subject to the available API, permissions, supplier requirements and intended scope. This possibility does not mean that SUPA uses FareHarbor.
Before proposing features, we identify where schedules, availability, participants and payments are managed. We also agree who responds to enquiries and maintains content. A booking click and a confirmed reservation are different actions; measurement should respect that distinction and the limitations of the systems involved.

View project Case study in PortugueseWhere the experience, requirements or audience differ meaningfully, a dedicated page can help visitors choose. If only a minor detail changes, presenting options on the same page may be clearer and avoid repeated content.
Explain what is included, where the activity starts, how to prepare and who can participate. Duration, policies and safety information should be confirmed by the operator and kept up to date.
Yes, where their questions and participation conditions genuinely differ. The content should explain suitability and available support without promising arrangements that the operation cannot provide. SUPA’s case describes this type of audience-focused organisation.
This can be assessed against the API, access permissions and system requirements. Send the documentation and describe your intended workflow. Compatibility and specific features can only be confirmed after that assessment.
Responsibility should be agreed within the project. The operator validates activity information, and the scope needs to identify who translates, reviews and updates each language when services or participation conditions change.
